A farm to fork project with the St Davids Peninsula at its heart.
St Davids Kitchen is owned and run by Neil and Ruth Walsh. Our little son, Alfie, is at least 8th generation St Davids – in fact we can trace our family back over 215 years!
We’re incredibly proud to live and work in St Davids and we’re committed to running The Kitchen on 3 key principles.
1. We’ll always be farmers who rear our own produce for our restaurant.
2. We’ll trade fairly, openly and ethically with as many local growers and producers as possible, and with the least food miles created.
3. We’ll provide well paid, yearly jobs with training and progression opportunities.
Food can travel thousands of miles before it reaches your plate.
Our Welsh Black Beef, Lamb, Cheese, Crab, Mackerel, Lobster and most vegetables travel less than 3 miles before they arrive on the menu.
Then we give them the care and consideration they need in order to do justice to the hard-work and commitment of our local suppliers.
Book A Table
Stop by for a drink in our well-stocked bar.
Our bar is open every night until 9.pm. Take a pew at next to a barrel and enjoy a glass of wine, a G&T or a local bottled beer.
Our Gin Menu
Anyone who knows Neil & Ruth will know they love Gin! Our 30 strong menu has been mindfully selected with traditional, classic and contemporary gins to suit all Gin-enthusiasts.
If you’re a visitor to Wales you might like to try a Brecon Gin (the Botanicals is a favourite) but with so many to choose from, there’s one for every Gin lover.
And look out for our Gin of the month promotion!
Our Wine Menu
Working with our local supplier Celtic Wines, we’ve come up with a well priced wine cellar with both old and new world wines to compliment our menu perfectly.
We think there’s a red or a white on our menu to suit every taste and budget!
It’s all about community.
As well as our support of local suppliers part of our commitment to the local community is dedicated to our chosen charity, The St David’s Penknife Club.
The charity raises money for local causes and voluntary groups hosting events throughout the community. If you’d like to find out more, click here for more details.
