St Davids Kitchen looks to expand over the next three years

St Davids Kitchen, which is part of the St Davids Peninsula Group, is pleased to announce it has been accepted on the Welsh Government’s “Accelerated Growth Programme” [AGP].

The AGP is designed to give assistance to small businesses that are looking to grow quickly but sustainably, and offers specialist support for businesses to overcome problems commonly associated with expansion. It can offer specialist support with business planning, raising finance, marketing, legal and HR issues amongst others.

The multi-award-winning St Davids Kitchen, in the heart of St Davids, forms the basis of the St Davids Peninsula Group, but has expanded to include Llandruidion Farm, a 15 acre farm near to Solva; STDAVIDS.WALES, a Welsh online marketplace with ethics; and the Responsible Agency, a digital advertising & marketing agency.

Neil Walsh, owner of the Peninsula Group said, “We’ve got big plans for the Kitchen and the Peninsula Group overall and we’re grateful for the support from AGP. We want to grow our business significantly over the next three years and AGP involvement will be critical to this. We want to develop at least 10 full-time jobs over the next three years, acquire new premises, and diversify the local economy of St Davids.”

“We really want to invest in the people of St Davids, and take our already existing high-quality offer to the next level.”

AGP support is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Union’s Regional Development Fund, and administered by Business Wales
